WinMX也支援所有的檔案格式，讓你可以取得不同類的共享影片及圖片檔、甚至是最普遍的MP3檔。 本軟體也有完整的聊天及熱門網站清單等功能，且均是以多重視窗之操作界面呈現。 WinMX 除了可以指定上/下傳的檔案限制外，亦可設定上/下傳使用的頻寬，並有傳送速度的圖形，對 於傳送狀況可以一目了然。對於傳送中斷的情況還可以續傳，不用浪費時間從頭開始。WinMX 的視窗
